\u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Tata Technologies, a global leader in engineering outsourcing and product development IT services, today announced that it has recruited 31 new graduates on its 2017 Developing Engineers Scheme.<\/p><p>Tata Technologies has a regular intake of graduates each year, with 31 in 2017 being the highest intake yet, building on the 47 graduates recruited over the past two years.<\/p><p>The programme takes four years to complete and the graduate trainees will be measured against the Engineering Council\u2019s \u201cUK Specification\u201d with the opportunity to also complete a Master\u2019s degree. The programme also gives the graduates an opportunity to achieve chartership with the IMechE (Institution of Mechanical Engineers) or the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology), through the company\u2019s Monitored Professional Development Scheme.<\/p><p>The graduates will learn and develop skills in a variety of fields including electrical, project management, manufacturing and virtual integration, working on projects across the automotive, aerospace and industrial machinery sectors.<\/p><p>Whilst the intake will be based at Tata Technologies\u2019 new European headquarters, the European Innovation &amp; Development Centre (EIDC) in Warwick, they will also work on projects across customers\u2019 sites in the UK and overseas.<\/p><p>The recruitment drive is an essential component of Tata Technologies\u2019 European growth strategy and follows the recent \u00a320 million investment in the development of the new EIDC in the UK.<\/p><p>Almost a third of the graduate engineers on this year\u2019s scheme have already worked with Tata Technologies on their \u2018Ready Engineer\u2019 programme, an annual internship programme with regional UK universities.
