The customer’s engineering data was distributed across multiple disconnected systems used by different business units, regions, and product lines. The company needed to migrate millions of records from various PLM platforms without disrupting ongoing operations or compromising data quality. Additionally, complex integrations involving MCAD, ECAD, SAP, and legacy enterprise applications increased the complexity of the transformation.

We delivered an end-to-end OnePLM transformation solution, spanning consulting, system integration, migration, and user enablement capabilities to establish a connected engineering environment.
The engagement began with a holistic assessment of the existing PLM landscape. Our experts analyzed current processes, identified regional variations, and developed a future-state blueprint to standardize engineering workflows while maintaining business flexibility across the enterprise.
A key component of the program involved migrating millions of records from multiple legacy platforms, including SAP PLM, Teamcenter Enterprise, SmartTeam, Windchill, and SPDM. Using proven migration methodologies, we consolidated product information while mitigating data conflicts and ensuring business continuity throughout the transition.
To create a connected engineering ecosystem, we integrated MCAD, ECAD, SAP, and enterprise legacy applications within the PLM environment. Our team also implemented engineering change management processes and developed customized training content to support standardized operating practices across the organization.
The program further included CAD, BOM, and EBOM consolidation, as well as automation tools developed by Tata Technologies.
